Mentioning Naruto's name was the last thing Sakura had been expecting from him, given how much he seemed to dislike the topic even when he didn't remember his former best friend as well as he should have. She was glad he did bring him up, though. At least it meant he wouldn't be glaring at her for doing it herself.
"It would have been a surprise if you didn't see him. It'd be weird not to considering he was always connected to you somehow." She crossed one leg over the other and rested her elbow on her thigh, her hand cupping her chin now. "Why are you so intent on forgetting him when you barely remember him? I know I always bother you about this but it's strange. You remember him vaguely as a rival but... he was so much more than that."
