She didn't want to think about the possibility of Asuka lying on the floor somewhere dead, but the reality was that it was extremely possible (and likely) that she was indeed already gone. Feeling a great deal of distress, she furrowed her brow to one of great concern and bit her tongue for a while to keep herself from getting too emotional. There was no point in crying. Even if Asuka was dead she would be back in a day and Sakura could have her way with yelling at her as much as she wanted, but... the guilt would be more difficult to wear off.
It took her a while to answer him, keeping her gaze in front of her and only taking a moment to flicker over to his side. "I don't know... maybe. Probably." She bit her tongue again. "It would be a great shock if she didn't at least run into someone but..." Sakura trailed off, bending her head slightly. The idea was really settling in now.
