Sakura's heart nearly broke at the look on his face. She hadn't even realized at the time what mentioning Sasuke may have felt like to Naruto, especially in this situation. Yes, Sasuke may have been acting different and was extremely friendly with her but he still hated Naruto beyond anyone else here, even without remembering a thing about him. She wouldn't tell Naruto all the things he had said, though. She wasn't cruel and it probably would have made him do something rash and stupid.
She looked up at him sympathetically, wanting to say something kind and comforting but knowing it would probably end awkwardly.
"Don't let him bother you," she said, hands now clasped behind her again. "He's just trying to figure everything out again. He's very confused of who he is supposed to know and how he is supposed to feel about them. I'm trying to make him see you differently but..." she bit her lip and trailed away. "I promise he will get better. He's actually... not that bad to... talk to..."
