Seriously, she was going to THROW SOMETHING at Asuka at this point. Why did she have to be here now of all times, when Naruto was actually being decent and Sakura was able to look at him without the urge to punch him every five seconds for saying something completely unnecessary. The girly side of Sakura thought what he was doing was sweet and should have been... private. Plus, she knew she was never going to be able to live this down.
But, really, when did anything go her way?
Asuka didn't understand the level of their friendship and no amount of explanation would probably convince the red head that she only considered Naruto as a friend. Her best friend, really. Oh, she couldn't wait for tomorrow... yes indeed.
When he was finished, Sakura ran a hand through her hair and then looked down at the necklace. It really wasn't that bad. She didn't care if people made fun of it or even noticed it. She liked it. She rolled her eyes with a smirk at his cheesy thumbs up but laughed despite herself. "I never knew you were actually good at picking out presents." She raised a suspicious eyebrow. "It was... thoughtful."
