His eyes lit up a bit when she informed him that she was willing to wear his present. He knew that she had told him to forget it so many times, that she was angry at him more often then anything, but he couldn't help but like her. She was confident, pretty, smart, and she'd noticed him. How many girls had actually paid him any attention, even if it was making fun of him? Smiling at the thought, he took the necklace from the box carefully, walking behind her and unfastening the clip.
Ignoring the fact that her roommate was watching them intently, his arms went over her shoulders, one hand taking one side of the necklace and the other side going into the other. He pulled it back gently, clipping it shut with care before he pulled any hair that had gotten tucked inside the chain's loop off her neck. Letting it fall again, he took a step back, felt his cheeks burn a bit from Asuka's very obvious laughter at the situation (God, could she be any more annoying?!) and went back around to see how the necklace fit.
He smiled, giving her a thumbs up to show that he approved... of his own present.
