By his obvious mannerisms alone, Sakura knew he was waiting with a bundle of nerves inside of him for her approval. She didn't understand why he still acted like they were twelve years old and he was telling her he liked her for the first time. Naruto's obsessive crush on her had always confused Sakura and she could not comprehend why he would still hold such faith and adoration in a girl like her, who had rejected him hundreds, maybe even thousands of times throughout their lives. He still tried relentlessly. It secretly flattered her, now, when she was able to appreciate his kindness more.
His comment about girlyness made her twitch momentarily, sighing to herself with great agitation. "Well, I am a girl, Naruto," she snapped in her usual tone but then shook it off, knowing he was just being his usual naive, idiotic self. That was also when she heard Asuka snickering from her corner of the room and an immediate blush found its way to her cheeks. Now embarrassed both by the fact that she was witness to this personal moment and that she was SHOWING her embarrassment loud and clear, Sakura ignored her room mate as best as she could, keeping her stare toward Naruto.
At his request, Sakura paused for a long moment. The way he was speaking made it seem like he was... shy. Around her? She gave a warm smile and held out the box for him to take the necklace out. "Of course I'm going to wear it."
