Naruto had been practically bouncing on her toes as she looked at the box, ignoring her thank you and repeating, "Open it open it open it!" under his breath. When she finally pulled the top of, he almost went "Tada!" but kept it inside as he waited very impatiently for her reaction. He had practically stopped breathing, his lip going between his teeth, and when she seemed to genuinely like the necklace he'd given her, he let out a breath he hadn't been one hundred percent aware he was holding. Giving a soft smile instead of his typical grin, he shoved his hands into his pockets, shrugging some.
"Dattebayo, I'm glad you like it. I was worried it was too girly or something!" Despite the fact that Sakura was a girl, and he wasn't entirely unaware of this fact, he wasn't quite sure just how much she loved pretty things. Clearing his throat, he tried his best to ignore Asuka's rather loud giggling as she watched them over the edge of her book, and took a slight step forward, tilting his head as he looked at his best friend with curiosity.
"I could help you put it on? Unless you don't want to wear it! 'Cause I can see how a cherry blossom necklace could just be kinda cheesy!" Insert very awkward laughter here.
