Sakura did not approve of the idea of Naruto venturing out into the halls when hungry Vampires were roaming the building, especially since she knew next to nothing about them. If he was attacked and she had to heal him, she wouldn't know what to do. Allen had told her they were "mythical" creatures... She had never dealt with anything like that before. So, being the careful friend she was, she began pacing around the room nervously, biting at the skin on her bottom lip out of a new habit she had developed throughout these past long, grueling months. The only thing that kept her from going insane from paranoia was knowing he literally was just down the hall and that... well... he was Naruto. He would never let something like a Vampire kill him, let alone stop him from his goal (as meager as it may have been at the moment).
Asuka had been complaining childishly about some hunger pains she was having but Sakura didn't really care at the moment. She just wanted Naruto to burst through the door already with that stupid grin of his so she would know he was okay. She didn't really know why she was so intensely worried when a good portion of her logic was telling her he would be just fine, but she could not help it. Besides, Asuka could live for a few hours without food, and if they really had to they could have used the wardrobe to ask for candy or something small that it would actually provide.
Suddenly, a streak of red flew past Sakura who had not been paying attention to Asuka enough, and next thing she knew their door was WIDE OPEN! Angry and slightly panicked, Sakura screamed after her stupid room mate and grabbed her quickly by her shirt, dragging her back inside. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING? I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO OUT THERE UNLESS YOU WANTED TO GET HURT!"
"I'M HUNGRY AND I DON'T WANT TO WAIT!"
Infuriated by her whining, Sakura hadn't noticed Naruto was even there until the door shut. Whipping around, next thing she knew he was in her face with a pretty jewelry box, thrusting it into her hands. Sakura blinked, registered that he was safe, and instantly felt relief. Looking down at the box, she noticed how... well... beautiful it was. Since when did Naruto have good taste? "I... um... thank you..." she stumbled at first before opening it. Her eyes grew even wider at what was inside. "Naruto..." It was a necklace in the shape of a pink flower, and it was blatantly obvious as to why he chose it. Sakura smiled. "T-This is so... pretty!" The word startled even her as it came out of her mouth.
