He backed away even further so that he was against the opposite wall. His right hand found its way to the dangling beads on the jacket around his waist and occupied itself there, making a light metallic jingling. "Depends on what you mean, there, kiddo." He looked up from the beads and grinned a little. "But no," he winked, "I have more self-control than that. You're safe."

Axel grinned again, but the grins were coming even slower, and more pained. His body had gotten the message; he wasn't going to feed, no matter how much it pushed. So it'd just take him down instead. The lanky man was beginning to look very tired. "nngh.... sorry... I... should.. uh... go."
