Sakura giggled lightly at his suggestion, assuming he was joking around more than anything given that sarcasm of his she was rather used to by now. She didn't think he would ever seriously do such a stupid thing and if he did, the reasoning behind it would have baffled her naive mind when it came to Sasuke's behavior. Half the time she didn't know why he did the things he did, but tonight had actually been quite enlightening. For once.
Lingering near the door, she hadn't moved an inch since he got up and was ready to turn and leave when Sasuke began to move closer and closer, and soon she was enveloped by his warm body. Eyes widened as painfully as they could, Sakura remained limp that way for a few long moments. Sasuke was... hugging her.
Sasuke.
Hugging.
That concept alone was confusing her to great lengths. Why? Why? WHY? was he hugging her. Not that she minded (she kind of liked it) but her brain and heart were screaming at her for allowing herself to cause them even more torture.
Ignoring their warnings completely, though, she suddenly didn't give a damn as she wrapped her own arms around his neck and buried her face into his shoulder, actually content. "You're welcome," she said, muffled into his shirt. Crap. Now she didn't want to go.
