His explanation bothered her a little because it was clearly what he had chosen to do for himself when he left Konoha behind. Although it may work, Sakura wasn't sure she would ever truly be able to cut off all of her emotional attachments with people. Even though, at this point, he and Naruto were the only ones she knew of and cared about the most, there were still many others she had befriended over the last eight months. It would have been too difficult... and not worth it.
Instead of telling him all that, though, she answered shortly. "That's... one way, I guess," and let it be.
When he moved off of her, Sakura felt her stomach squirm uncomfortably and her side felt cold again. Still, she knew she probably should have gotten going. She couldn't stay here for the night or anything like that. "Right... I should probably go if you don't feel pain anymore." Frowning to herself, she stood up and ran a hand idly through her hair, looking at him from her spot. She wanted to say that what she wanted to do was stay in his company, but that probably would have been inappropriate. "Well... if you ever need anything else, you know where to find me. Goodnight, Sasuke-kun."
