The way he dismissed his own abilities amazed her. Perhaps he had really gotten to the point where he didn't know how extraordinary his abilities were compared to the rest his age, especially from Konoha. Not that no one else was as capable as him... but no one had grown so quickly in such a brutally short amount of time. Even with her monstrous strength that could kill a man if used the right way, Sakura could probably never even touch him in a fight.
Then, his sudden question broke her concentration and she grew embarrassed that he would notice such a thing. Sakura sighed, more defeated than anything else, and chose to just give a straight answer. What was the point in beating around the bush when he so obviously knew she had that problem? He wasn't stupid. He would probably know if she was lying. "Both, actually," she muttered at first, easily able to name a few morons off the top of her head, but then shrugged lightly, becoming more serious with her answer. "I've learned that getting too close to people too fast can end in painfully easy heartbreak. I'm not willing to take that risk again."
