Superhero time!
Who: Steph spoiler_space, Clark notaplane
What: Steph showing Clark around the city and probably discussions of The Future.
When: Today
Where: Lobby and other places
Warnings: Can't really imagine any...
Clark was, primarily, confused. Waking up in a place you didn't know nothing about would probably do that to anyone, though, especially when you went out looking for a way out back to a highway or something and realized after a while that you were running in circles without ever turning. He'd come back in to ask on that blog thing if anyone knew what was going on, and frankly, it had only messed him up more. Apparently he'd somehow... appeared on some other world, with someone who was evil and from his future? And Lex...
Well, he had to believe he could change that. Of course he would change that, weren't he and Lex friends? Hadn't Lex said not all that long ago that their friendship would be the stuff of legends? There was bad stuff in Lex's past, sure, and sometimes he did some questionable things, but deep down, Clark knew he was a good guy.
In fact, maybe this was a dream or something. Some weird kind of prophetic dream, maybe, warning him to keep an eye on Lex and make sure he was okay. The only problem with that was he really didn't think he could have invented stuff like calling himself 'Superman' - he was pretty sure that was about him, how many aliens with superhuman powers could there be? - or having 'supervillains' called The Clown Prince of Crime or some guy called Batman The Dark Knight? He just wasn't that creative. (Or that weird.) Maybe Chloe could have dreamed it up, but not him.
Either way, he was pretty sure Stephanie knew something about him - the way she'd brushed off her own questions and pushed to meet him... but he didn't know her. Was she from the future, too? If so, how far? What did she know about him and...what he became, or might become, or... whatever?
So yeah, his mind was a bit of a mess as he headed down the hallways, shrugging on a parka (there was definitely snow outside his window, so it must be winter, wherever this was) over his t-shirt and flannel overshirt. It was a fairly straight shot to the lobby, but he took it slow, walking casually through the halls. If she didn't know about his powers, he didn't want to have to explain how he'd gotten there so fast, if she happened to be there before him somehow.
