As Raito attempted to explain, Sakura could not help but automatically think that his words were the lamest excuse she had ever heard. How could someone end up somewhere and not know HOW they had ended up there in the first place? It was one thing if his answer sounded more confident but the way his voice raised at the end made it seem like he was trying to cover up for something. Unfortunately, she didn't even consider that he may have been placed there by another after being knocked unconscious or... a hundred other semi-logical explanations. There was no time for her to just sit and think, anyway, as Akito started having a weird fit by her side.
Placing a comforting arm around him as he continued to cling onto her other limb, she ignored Raito nearly completely at this point while Akito seemed to speak with himself, basically paraphrasing their situation to no one. She stared back into his golden eye as he explained of Agito's arrival, but Sakura only grew even more confused. She had no idea how Akito knew the boy could be getting nearer. Even she, a trained shinobi, couldn't hear footsteps of any sort, or sense a new chakra presence of a body.
This morning was just getting stranger and stranger.
He suddenly let go of her and she immediately removed her arm, bending down slightly to be more level with him. "Akito-kun... Where is he? Is he hurting you somehow?" A more determined expression lit up on her face and she gave a curt nod. "I won't let him do anything to you! He has no right to bother us!"
