Russia was so much taller than him, Japan noticed with a little distaste, though it did not show in his expression. Instead, he inclined his head politely, hands at his sides once more and position stiff and straight-backed. It was strange how constantly cheerful Russia was, yes, the word was unnerving again. That seemed to describe the nation perfectly and it filled Japan with unease.
"It is a fine day."
He replied, turning his dark gaze out the window where it dripped with rain and the sky was grey and dull. "The gardens will enjoy the rain." He paused and then bowed his head once more, adding in all politeness, "How are you faring, Russia?"
