"As if," Xigbar countered, his gun arrows nipping at Cid's heels as he fled for the blimp's basket. "And I'm older than you, so maybe you're just out of shape, captain."
Disconnecting his guns again now that Cid was in his nice little hidey-hole, he took the opportunity to at least reload them. Still, there was the question of what to do now. He could shoot at the box from this side, but the metal contraption looked to be very sturdy. After a moment of thought, Xigbar opened up a new portal, though this one far smaller than the other ones had been. Rather than fully going through it, he only stuck one hand through, gun included. The small portal opened up right on the other side of the blimp's basket, the side through which Cid had scampered. Firing like this was more than a little awkward, considering he couldn't really see what he was shooting at, but, hey, it was better than nothing.
