Ed could only wonder and guess about all the places Edward could have been dropped off upon his arrival. His gaze kept finding it’s way to the clock with every minute seeming more like ten. Maybe it was just his own impertinence or maybe Edward really was taking forever to reach the room, but either way, the boy was getting tired of sitting around and waiting on him. Another minute passed and Ed was up on his feet, being careful not to make any noise when he hopped out of the chair. The last thing he wanted to do was wake Al up now, no, he’d let him sleep or wake him up when Edward showed up...if he ever did.
The blond made his way towards the door, moving fast but not making a sound. Luckily all the kittens were curled up around Al, so there wasn’t anything but a few cat toys and random alchemy notes to step on. Reaching out, he turned the knob and yanked the door open before steeping out, “I bet he forgot where the room wa--” his words cut short as he bumped into another body. “Ah, sorry.“ He started quickly before glancing upward at Edward. Edward? Edward! It took a second or so for his mind to catch up with his eyes but once it did it was obvious by the light shade of red on his cheeks. He frowned up at the taller-then-before alchemist, crossing his arms firmly over his chest. “Took you long enough. I was about to go looking for you myself.”
