'Neh, you don't think he'll mind?'
'After that sap on Nata's journal? Are you fucking kidding? Of course he's not going to. You two make me sick.'
'That's not what you were saying before~'
The somewhat conversation, somewhat argument, continued on in that sort of vein for awhile. After talking to Nata and then Jade on the Navigator's journal, even with Kaito's death, the light had been left in a far greater mood than before. Nata had successfully made him forget about his adopted brother's death with that picture he had drawn and the offer to draw with both him and Kazu later. But it had been Jade that had put him in the best mood of all.
That conversation...it had started when Nata had asked him what it had been like to have a father. Before now, Akito truly couldn't have answered. Before Jade, he'd never had any other family than his older brother. But now...
He'd spoken the truth when he'd replied to Nata's question. He trusted Jade completely. Trusted him, loved him. Akito would do anything that his father asked him to do, and would do anything to make sure that he was safe. He'd replied to Jade's posts and wanted to see his adopted father badly enough that after a moment, he'd snapped the laptop shut and darted out the door. Agito had rolled his eyes at his other, but apart from reassuring the light that Jade wouldn't mind a random visit, had simply stayed quiet. The dark didn't mind this, much to his own surprise. Akito was happy. That was enough for him.
The light dashed through the halls as fast as he could, running but making sure that he didn't trip over anything along the way. 090B was his father's room. Too far away in Akito's opinion, he was going to have to get Jade to move closer. It would be easier on them both, since his father was practically always in and out of his room anyway. Silly to be so far away. He skidded to a halt in front of Jade's door, panting a little to get his breath back before lifting a hand and knocking on the door. The second it opened he was going to tackle his father. Far too much energy was running through him at the moment, he just needed to prove the fact he loved Jade right now.
