Hands in his pockets, the colonel makes his way outside. A weapon that killed permanently? Took a life, even and from what he gathered, deaths are not permanent here. Lasting from two to three days, but he wasn't ready to test out that theory, not now.
Oh, but he doesn't fear death, but no one wants to die. No one wants to take their last breath and fall into that deep dark abyss. Calling to them, telling them to 'come down, everything will be ok' as ghostly hands grip on their ankles, pulling them down. The colonel refuses to be pulled down.
Funny he should be thinking that.
Stepping outside of the hotel, snow crunching underneath his boots, he walks along in the snow.
Red eyes are scanning the area and freeze on a figure leaning against a pole.
Lost Soul.
Jade stops walking for a moment. Soul wishes to go against his programming, to stop hurting people. He wonders briefly if this is true, but he doesn't doubt Nata's words for a minute.
But he is cautious, for the colonel knows that Soul has it in it for him still. Or does he? Judging from their last battle, it didn't seem over.
Jade sighed and debated on walking away from this or going over to try to help the reaper. Careful steps have him moving slowly towards Soul with his guard up.
