To be honest, if Sakura's inner self wasn't pushing her this hard, she would have run away by now or chosen to come back another day when she was ready to face whatever was about to happen. It was hard to ignore, though, and she knew this was the right thing to do when it all came down. Besides, she couldn't avoid him forever. They were bound to meet, unfortunately enough.
When the door began to open, she held her breath but kept a relatively normal expression on her face. She didn't want to look scared; What kind of an impression would that be? Then again, she shouldn't have cared to make an impression on Sasuke of all people. Such feelings were a thing of the past, right?
The crack that now separated them was horrifying to her. She could see his face, (at least as much as he was allowing her to see) as stoic as ever.
"Sasuke-kun..." was all she could manage to say at first, very quietly, before moving her gaze to the floor. "You look... well."
