Whoa, maybe if he practiced in the mirror and pulled a bit on his own cheeks, maybe he could smile like Cid someday. It was just a random thought, but it made the NPC’s smile grow a little more. Cid was loud and such and it had been awhile since Nata was around anyone like him or Kaito. He was intimated by them both at first, but in the end Cid was nice just as Kaito turned out to be. Watching the mechanic stand, Nata blinked as he dropped the cup onto the table. Surprisingly it didn’t break nor did the liquid spill, just like before. Cid had some strange abilities… Glancing down at his own cup, Nata pondered trying the dropping-the-cup-on-the-table-without-breaking-or-spilling-it trick but quickly decided that that was for another time. He didn’t want to waste Cid’s tea after all.
Reaching over, Nata placed his own cup down next to Cid’s and hopped out of his seat. He wasn’t sure what Cid was doing but he was curious to find out. But just as the NPC started to walk over, the pilot was already making his way back over to him with some strange item….a magical stone maybe? Giving another small nod, Nata wondered over to the man, stopping just a foot or two away. The device looked strange, nothing he had ever seen before, but he trusted Cid enough to believe his words when he said it wouldn’t hurt. “Understood. But I am not a machine….” He stated simply. He was a NPC, a AI, data or whatever else you wanted to name him aside from machine, computer or robot. Those words were incorrect and bothered him. Computers and such didn’t have true thoughts; feels or anything else like that. Nata had those, a computer did not. Looking from the device to Cid, he nodded all the same. “When ever you are ready. If I am still made of data, then main source of it should be here. ” Nata said, lifting his hand to briefly touch his own chest, trying to be of some help.
