The rag was tossed off to the side, miraculously landing on the only table (solid steel; cold with the damn snow, but workable) in the hangar, nevermind the few papers it knocked off in the meanwhile. Something popped back into place in his back as he straightened up, muttering to himself about rusting nails and slow computers, gloved hand replacing the goggles back to his forehead. Glanced around, took stock of the empty place - everyone was either busy forgetting things or playing in the snow, even the numbskull who'd dropped off the teapot that was still steaming - and took a moment to think over what, exactly, he'd been meaning to do.
Oh. Right. Robot.
Hmph.
Cid didn't bother heading toward the door that sat right next to the larger opening, kicking back against the metal framing of the miniature - by his standards - plane, keeping one eye on the opening and another on the slowly-decreasing cigarette in his mouth. Aah, nicotine. Did wonders for calming a guy down. Now hopefully this little kid would be worth the effort of pausing in work for (not that he'd been doing much the past two days, what with the cold and all, but Highwind wasn't one to acknowledge when he didn't do work).
