He'd never once started to take the place for granted, but it was easy to forget little details, like the abundance - not mention variety (who knew there were so many different types of seafood?) of the food. Yet Silver's reaction reminded him just of that, and coupled with the fact that they both seemed hungry...
It was a good thing the cafeteria was magically able to restock.
Vash practically hopped over to the hedgehog's room - very high-up room - only thinking on the next few hours instead of the shock the other had to be going through, arriving here. It was funny; he could remember clearly how bad he'd felt, himself, to be away from Gunsmoke at the very moment it mattered most, but the feeling... faded. Perhaps that was just his acceptance at work, since he knew time wouldn't move and nothing in his own world would go on without him, and that was alright. He'd gotten itchy, sure, to move on from this city, but it wasn't a horrible feeling; people here needed help just as much as anyone else. Even if they were... furry.
"Silver?" A happy, cheerful call, acting like he'd known the other for ages, a grin on his face and a bounce in his step, all the way up to the room. It would work out. It always did.
