Bat-log #35980465 Who: Batwing and Joker What: Joker called Batman out, Batwing answers instead Where: The movie theater When: Not long after Joker's post and the Batsignal went up. Warnings: . . . violence.
This was it. Definitely a trap, but it at least gave Nightwing something of an edge going into it already knowing that. Not much of an edge, but an edge, nonetheless. He parked the Batmobile in an alley a couple of blocks away from the movie theater and took to the rooftops, leaping from building to building until he was on the roof of the theater. A quick look around showed that there were guards stationed around the building, a hindrance should Nightwing need to make a hasty exit so he took them out as quickly and quietly as he could, making sure they were thoroughly knocked out and securely tied to a couple of nearby streetlamps before heading back up to the roof.
He had little trouble getting into the theater from the roof access door which, conveniently enough, brought him to the projection room. The projector was running and Nightwing could hear the psychotic laughter of his prey over the jaunty music of the cartoon he was watching on the big screen. There didn't seem to be anyone else in the theater itself; that didn't mean that there weren't, but it was time that "Batman" made his presence known. The big screen went dark around the silhouette of the pointy-eared cowl.
