The inner, almost imaginary bristle happened at the way Benio took to the place was ignored - X hadn't said 'kill it,' so Cake wasn't going to bother (normally he would, but he felt sort of tired) - in favor of just watching, hands folding behind his back, in front of him, fidgeting at the hem of a ragged shirt and finally just folding behind his head, frowning deeply at the whole situation. Anti straightened, curiousity creeping into his expression as he... literally looked himself over. There were patches of blood all over (X'd gone out, and therefore, so had he), but the former heartless wasn't quite sure which ones were wounds. Maybe the ones that stuck the most...?
A shrug was given in answer, weak grin reflectively creeping onto his face, and then his attention finally went to Benio. If Shou was going to take care of X, he could help with Benio! ... Or, well, ask questions.
