Nightmare Log Who: Hisoka and Watari What: Watari's been having nightmares and Hisoka's worried enough that it sparks his own nightmare, so he goes to the only friend he has for a little support. Where: Wat and 'Soka's room. When: Not too long after this thread in 'Soka's journal. Warnings: Angst, maybe some fluff and/or sap, depending.
No, Watari wasn't okay. Hisoka could feel it as clearly as any one of his own emotions, but he also didn't really know what he could actually do about it. Watari was his friend, wasn't he? And he didn't want the other shinigami to suffer, but it wasn't as if Watari hadn't been dealing with his issues for longer than Hisoka had even known him. So he probably didn't even need help. He'd just sleep it off and be fine in the morning once he got back to work on whatever new exploding potion he was working on. And Hisoka would just leave him to it, because it wasn't like he could do anything to help anyway; no, Tsuzuki would have much better suited to doing that, but he wasn't here.
With a quiet sigh, the young shinigami closed his laptop and stretched back out on the couch, the last traces of Watari's latest nightmare slowly dissipating as he fell back to sleep.
When he woke again, his body felt like it was on fire, he could barely breathe but his stomach roiled as as his brain continued to panic from the nightmare Hisoka had woken up from. Not one of Watari's this time, no, which was obvious from the angry red curse marks decorating his body. In the state he was in, Hisoka didn't even notice when he stook up from the couch and practically scrambled towards the bedroom proper, only one thing on his mind.
