A tale of two lovebirds. [complete] Who: X and Kazu. What: Fulfilling Byakuran's request. When: 9AM. Where: City. Warnings: X, probably language, paranoia.
A familiar route, sure, one he took everyday, rain or shine (normally- always shine), but there was still that edge of... something that made him want to turn back straight away or dive into an alley and hide, even if it was about the slowest, sunniest part of the day. Kicking a pebble absently, Mikura watched as it skidded into the road and... sat there. No cars on the streets, as per usual. Barely any 'zombies' on the sidewalks. Made a guy feel weird, rolling along on ATs in a uniform to go work at a teahouse. But, hey, someone had to bring home the food.
He was tired- bone-tired, really, but this was Thursday, and he had Friday off, and he'd catch sleep on his break. Or maybe he wouldn't. It all depended, really. On... something. Again with the something--! ... Ah, well, he couldn't exactly get angry over it.
This whole world was Something, wasn't it? No certainties. For the way things went, the weird that escaleted so far, he bet... he bet he wouldn't even be surprised if someone random came up and said 'I love you' (only he would be, but for argument's sake-). Hell, it wouldn't be shocking if Agi or Agito started professing undying love to someone, too... Just a matter of time.
