Dr. Venture was flipping through his book. When he pulled it off the shelf, he had no idea what it was about. Why he was reading it, he didn't know. Was he getting bored like so many other people here did? Perhaps.
But suddenly, there was a knock on his door, and the sound of a young girl crying out, "Special delivery!" He was a little surprised the young rabbit had come, but no matter. He walked over to the door with a shoebox, and opened it.
"Hello," said Dr. Venture dully. "You're really not supposed to say 'Special delivery' unless you're actually delivering something, though. Here's the package. In case you're wondering, I couldn't find any other box for it, so I had to use this one."
He handed the young girl the shoebox. It was about the weight of a loaf of bread, and made a “Ting, ting” sound as he handed it to her.
