For the hours that he had been here, Apollo had felt sick and worried, and for the last hour he had felt terrified. Ever since he was younger, he had always had someone around, whether it be his parents or his friends. For the past while, it had been Trucy and to a lesser case, Mr. Wright, but he had had someone. Even if it was just for a few hours, being totally alone had really shaken up Apollo, and he doubted he would recover anytime soon.
A choked laugh escaped Apollo's tremblings lips as Klavier joked about the Chords of Steel. "Y-Yeah, I really gotta start being careful about it. I can't lose my voice in the middle of court." With his free arm, Apollo wiped his tears away and looked at Klavier again, a grateful smile on his lips.
He almost wanted to thank Klavier, although it didn't seem right to do that. It wasn't right, Klavier didn't come here for him, he was just here. "...I'm really glad you're here, Prosecutor Gavin."
