Completed Log Who: Bridge and Shuro What: A bit of a conversation after Bridge shoots up his room. Where: The hallway outside Bridge and Shuro's rooms. When: Night after the curse ends? >.> Why: 'Cause? |D
*This evening, a certain power ranger is shooting up his room. The sounds can be heard even through his closed door*
*Living right across the hall, Shuro hears the sounds and it's enough to get her up from the couch and leave her room, walking across the hall and considering the door conflictedly before knocking on it.* Is everything okay in there?
*there's a surprised yelp and a thud as the gun drops out of his hand*
*She knocks a little harder when there's no answer, getting more concerned* Hello? I know someone's in there you may as well open up.
*after a moment, the door swings open, and Bridge is there, wearing green pajama pants and a red t-shirt. He looks like he's been crying* What? *he squeaks*
*She looks past him, surprised at the state of his room and the state of him as well* What happened?
Nothing. *pout*
*She rolls her eyes and crosses her arms* I heard the gunshots. I see the damage. What happened?
...mrf. Nothing important.
*She raises an eyebrow at him* I don't think I've ever heard "nothing important" in relation to gunshots.
I'm just upset. ...*has a sort of hurt look in his eyes, briefly, but he looks down*
That's a little more than just upset. What happened?
...everything. ...*he suddenly makes a face, just a little bit of a sneer* But what do you care? You think I'm bad.
*She scowls at that and snorts* You pointed a gun at one of my friends, you thought I'd be your best friend after that? But you helped me help Sonic, so I'm tryin' to return the favor.
...If you want to help me? *He looks up, looking at her with his teary green eyes* Help me get out of here. back to my world. Or at least somewhere where I can do something.
*She softens a bit at that and sighs, looking away and brushing a hand through her hair* If I could help anyone get home I would've done it already . . .
I mean, what am I supposed to do, *sneering* talk about my feelings? all that ever does is make things worse. And even if I do say something important, no one ever believes me. Or in me. ...ever. Not even home, actually, but at least there I got to contribute.
*It's ringing far too close to home and her frown sharpens a bit* It's not like you're the only one around here that's frustrated about not being able to do anything. You're not the only one that was doing something important back in your world. If you wanna do something around here then do something, no one's gonna come and ask you to do it.
But you can't just lock the bad guys away here! They hide in the shadows, behind friendly faces. To stop them, you almost have to be one of them...
*She rolls her eyes* What world do you come from? The bad guys don't always wear black and evil devil goatees, walking around with rope and train schedules in their pockets. It's just how the world works.
I came from a world... where bad guys that got in by pretending to be your friend usually went for the kill right away.
Yeah, well, some of us come from worlds where the bad guys are businessmen. Or soldiers. All working alongside the other businessmen and soldiers. This place . . . at least the ghosts haven't been trying to kill us recently.
...close enough.
*She turns back to him with a serious frown* No. It's not. It's really not and if you think that you got no idea what you're talking about.
*He shakes his head* ... I can't say anything. Anything I say will just make it all worse. That's the worst. They're everywhere.
The ghosts? Well, yeah . . . They can't really screw around with us effectively if they aren't . . .
Not just them.
Then who?
Mephiles. Schuldig. Probably more...
*She snorts* I still don't know what your problem is with Schuldig, but that's your problem. And far as I've seen Mephiles hasn't done anything.
You do know he's psychic, right?
Schuldig or Mephiles? I know Schu is and I'm pretty sure I got the point that Mephiles is.
Because Schu is pretty powerful. He tried to override my powers and write to my mind that night. But he caused a feedback loop that hurt us both.
*She doesn't believe him and clearly shows that* Why would he do that?
Because he was afraid of what I'd see. Actually, a lot of people would be, that doesn't prove anything, and what I saw is one, not anything you'd believe out of my mouth, and two, between me and him. Evil or no, he deserves the same courtesy I'd give to anyone else until he goes and kills someone. I'm too principled for this!
Says the guy that's shooting up his room. Next thing you know you'll be shooting a person.
...well, not unless Schu gets too close to me, but he and I talked about that the other day.
*She glares at him* If you touch him you're gonna have me to deal with. I'm not gonna let another one of my friends get hurt.
*holds up both his gloved hands* I won't do a thing to him until he gets too close to me or kills someone.
Well if you're waiting for him to kill someone then I guess we don't have a problem, do we?
Nope. Besides, he's fun to talk to. Online. *frowns* he's scary in person.
*She crosses her arms and snorts* He's not scary at all.
You haven't--can't--see what I see. And I guess I don't really expect you to. I hope you would, but... I'm not stupid. *shrug* You see, this is why I didn't want to do this. Because I feel incredibly uncomfortable with you because you stand even less of a chance of hearing me than everyone else, because oft hat little incident. I appreciate the thought though. It was nice of you to come check on me.
*She remembers what Hitsugaya had said about Schuldig, comparing it with what Bridge is telling her and part of her starts to wonder if there might actually be something behind them. This is not something that she wants to think about at the moment, though, considering Schuldig is the only one that's been able to help her during this curse and she turns away, walking back towards her room* It wasn't a "little incident." You waved around a gun at my friend and I've never claimed to be a very forgiving person and I doubt you'd be too thrilled if someone did that to your friend.
I overreacted a little. *pause* A lot, actually. I thought he was trying to completely mind control me. Doesn't excuse it, but he's not innocent either. Just be careful. ..and thanks.
