That one word had been echoing in her mind her entire trip back from stopping Naruto in the hall and finally completing the dare Asuka had so maturely provided for her. Sakura didn't HAVE to do it. She was not obligated to play along with the silly games these people brought up any time they were bored, but for some reason she had felt compelled to this time, and highly regretted it now. Yes, a kiss on the cheek was hardly scarring, but given past circumstances and stupid incidents they had been forced into by curses, she just knew Naruto was off eating ramen now and thinking that she liked him.
She just knew it.
Damn this place.
Ignoring the foreign squirming in her stomach at her thoughts, she had begun to near her room when the door swung open mere seconds before Sakura's face would have been exactly where a laptop flew out and crashed against the opposite wall, a horrifying scream going along with it. Panicking, Sakura ran inside only to see a highly disheveled Asuka standing in front of the open door, obviously pained about something.
Worried, she tried to take a step near her but was unsure as to how Asuka would react. She was never an emotionally open person with Sakura (or anyone, as she had learned) even though Sakura knew the girl desperately needed all the support she could get. No one deserved to be alone and forced to deal with problems in solitude. That's what friends were for... to help and comfort... and Sakura would do her very best to provide that for her right now, no matter how hard Asuka fought back.
