.: Vampire Curse :.
Hey guys~ It's that time again!
.: The Vampire Curse :.
Yup! That's right! For a week, starting at midnight CST tonight, residents of the building will suddenly be turned into bloodsucking monsters!
Now, the way it's going to work is this. To make sure the place doesn't just get overrun with vampires and no one to feed from, every player can choose ONE of their characters to be turned. So that's ONE CHARACTER PER PLAYER. Those of you who only have one character? You can decide if you want them to be vampire or victim!
To clear up some of the questions that have already arisen and are likely to again, We have details.
For the vampires:
The style of vampire is up to your choosing! Pick your favourite vampire myth and run with it~ ALSO! It is entirely up to you as to how deeply your character is affected by this change! As in, you can decide whether they just immediately fall into the role of a dark predator without remorse, or do they retain some semblance of themselves and suffer with the dark urges and needs they've been given?
For the victims:
Your characters cannot be turned for this curse. This is to keep the building from simply being overrun with vampires anyways a couple of days from now. None of the traditional means of turning will work during this curse. Those who are victims, stay victims. If they're killed by a vampire, they'll come back to life after 24 hours, same as always. And yes, sunlight will save you if you go outside during the day, but when the sun goes down... the city belongs to them~
However! Like all good vampire stories, there are ways to hunt and kill these monsters as well! The most common means, of course, being a stake through the heart. Dragging them into sunlight will work as well (though how quickly that works does depend on the style of vampire, but sunlight is still detrimental). Beheading a vampire will also kill them. But! As with the rules of the building... they will return in 24 hours as well~
