hey everyone! I've just applied with this girl, so I figured I'd throw her out for a few lines.
This is Beth Porte, who I'm hopefully bringing in with Sara Bareilles credits. Beth grew up all over, her parents were sort of crazy in that they wanted to raise her all over the world, home schooling her until high school and letting her learn through experience. She learned how to make friends pretty quickly because they were always going to be moving. She still does keep in touch with some of the random friends she's made over the years. Her mother was a ballet dancer before she ran away with her father, which sort of instilled a romanticized version of life in Beth from the time she was really little. She spent high school in Philly, and then went to college at Stanford, studying music - and started up her career right after college.
Personality-wise, she's very friendly to most people, though she definitely does have a surly attitude and a bite to her if she's pushed. Her ex girlfriend is ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) benedikte, whom she dated mostly on/off for three years though they were never really out as a couple. they dated from 06-09, and Beth is still pretty (read: very) bitter about their breakup. She's very open about her sexuality - she is sort of a "love who you love" kind of person and has never made a big deal about it. she's currently dating someone as of 2 months, though beth is in zero rush to make it serious enough to have the world know about it.
I think I've bored y'all enough with the details, I could really use any kind of lines at all!

Okay. This is Ben Morgan, and he was just added last night. He's a former model turned fashion designer, with Christian Siriano's credits. He's also been dabbling in the bottom of the barrel of reality TV, aka RuPaul's Drag Race.
Anyway, he lives in New York and always has, and basically he'll design for anyone who asks him to and is willing to pay for his time and effort. I'd love to find people he's friends with, people he's done work for, or just people who are super into fashion and shit like that to hang out with. Oh, and he has an ex-wife who's kind of crazy and a ten-year-old who drives him crazy.

hello, hello, hello. i missed this place so much, i had to come back with someone new. this is ocean ives, and she has the credits of kimya dawson and the moldy peaches. she's absolutely a dirty little free loving hippie, very sweet, into conservation and social and cultural and environmental issues... has absolutely no filter whatsoever and will pretty much say exactly what's on her mind (she's not shy!), and will find something good to say about just about everyone she meets. friends? exes? hookups? people who find her annoying and hated juno? i'm open!

after a crazy summer, i realised i missed this girl too much so i'm bringing her back! elizabet winchester here, face of boa kwon and voice of cheryl cole. she's a former girl band star from the uk who is now living in los angeles judging on the x factor usa. she's a sweet lady who is always up for some fun with her friends. basically she needs everything so lay it on me!

hello! i just put in her application so i thought i'd make a post in here. this is eloise marshe, broadway actress extraordinaire~, ladyfriend of benedikte. she has the voice of sutton foster and is currently playing reno sweeney in anything goes, for which she won a tony award this past june. she's sweet and friendly, on the shy side, but she's become much more extroverted since she's come to work onstage (which admittedly isn't saying much). since all but one of her credits are stage credits (one guest spot on law and order: svu. just one.), she's not very well-known, but ever since she and ~benedikte came out together, she's been the focus of much more media attention, especially because of the scandal~ of their age difference.
i know that, considering her body of work, there probably aren't a lot of immediate connections to work out, but i'd love to brainstorm some lines anyway!

good afternoon! i've applied this megan fox pb with katy perry musical credits and i'm hoping to get in with next adds. i only have a few lines pre-planned and worked out and hopefully this post will bring me a few more connections! dylan is currently dating marshe and has been since mid-'09. her heterosexual solemate and bff is jamoreau. she adores and parties with josephinenicole and once upon a time she stalked rillidge's solo shows like it was her job.
dylan is 25 years old, the daughter of a broadway legend, actress, musician, writer, producer, and all around connected individual (think: bette midler) but she doesn't have a lick of acting ability in her. she was mostly a rugrat underfoot in the world of theatre until she hit her teens and wanted to start performing on her own, and was left with the option of music after acting failed miserably. she grew up in nyc, still lives in nyc, and has no intentions of ever living somewhere else permanently. she likes to party hardy and wild out with her friends, doesn't like fighting with anyone and tries to avoid it at all costs (unless you want to talk about gay rights, then she'll beat your throat with a wine glass). she's loud, opinionated, and doesn't change her mind for anyone or anything!

hi everyone! this little lady is victoria brodie and i would LOVE some lines for her. she's 27 years old, a los angeles native and she's an actress. her first ever role was marissa cooper in the o.c but she's probably best known as true blood's sookie stackhouse. as far as movies go, she was in the a-team and she has a handful of other roles, too. most of her work has been as a voice actress in the half-life (alyx vance) and bioshock (dr tenenbaum) series'. a full list of her credits can be found here. she's a huge video games dork, her current obsession is portal, and if you happen to mention aperture or black mesa, she'll pretty much make you one of her favorites for life. other than that, she's a lot thorny, difficult, stubborn, has very little time for ignorance and stupidity, she tells it exactly like she sees it and she lives behind a self-built wall that she hates ... but makes no effort to change it. she was hurt one too many times. but persevere and she's a pretty loyal friend. she has a dirty mind, can be very flirty when the mood takes her, but overall? i don't know, she's a mixed bag.
so far, her only connection is a long-term, on-off relationship with nillidge which, at last asking, is permanently off. i'm looking for everything for her - friends, co-stars, exes, crushes, flings, whatever else you wanna throw my way!

hey all, while I work on her bio I thought I'd see if she could get her some lines. her name is brooke wachler and she's playing katniss in the hunger games, and it is her first role. i know it doesn't really give her that much for line wise, but figured her being put out there and now attending events and talk show interviews, it could open her up for some along those lines. besides that, she's from rhode island and was attending ucla when they started having open auditions for the hunger games. she went to audition with some friends who were fans of the series and after a lot of auditions, the unknown landed the part with not that much acting experience. the 21-year-old is now getting a lot of attention and will be attending the vmas this weekend to show the first clip from the film, so that could be another opening possibility for lines.
so i suppose just people she would've met and people she's becoming friends with, or people that may have rubbed her the wrong way or trying to get her out into the hollywood social scene. any other possible future credits suggestions would be cool as well.

salutations! i am bringing you nathan illidge, along with the pb of shane west. nathan here is part of the band wrongwaystreet (claim: seether), and he was a part of the scott pilgrim cast as lucas lee. he's in a band with his sister and releases solo stuff in his spare time (but it's all acoustic stuff, claim of clint lowery's hello demons meet skeletons), and well...to be honest, nathan is kind of a dick. he's a dick mostly because he's one of those honest people when he does speak, but he's generally interoverted, which people tend to perceive as him just not giving a shit about them (and it's mostly true). i know he's got some friends here, mostly because YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE, but i'm looking for all sorts of stuff. exes (believe me, his road to hell is paved with one night stands and questionable decisions with the opposite gender), people who he has generally rubbed the wrong way with his attitude, and even people who enjoy his honesty. let's have fun people, i'm ready to enjoy this game.

hello! i am currently in the midst of writing up this girl's biography but i thought i would throw her out for some lines in the meantime. this is gretchen williams. she's known for playing amy pond in doctor who. she was born in london in october, 1987 and grew up in a fairly well off home. growing up she was thrown deep into musical lessons and was heavily into drama as well. it was toward the end of secondary school, around the time she took her gcse's that she decided she wanted to primarily concentrate on drama and acting. she went through sixth form concentrating on drama and the arts, as well as bouncing around from audition to audition. nothing concrete really came through for her until she got the role of amy pond on doctor who.
personality wise, she's quite bubbly. edgy is not a word to describe her. she likes bad puns and was thrilled to get the part on doctor who based on the fact that she's already a bit of a nerd and loves science fiction. she's tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt and usually doesn't have much trouble making friends, as she isn't very shy. of course, she's got her own internal issues as everyone does but those generally come to me as i get a chance to play the character and flesh them out further.
any and all lines you could give me would be absolutely fantastic, thanks!

Now that he is all applied, I am back again to do one of these properly. This is Travis Bennet, a 27 year old actor from the UK is most widely known for playing the Eleventh Doctor on Doctor Who. He is the younger brother to abennet, and in that respect, he grew up in a very posh household, everything a little boy could want in the world and more, including the best schooling, best of, well, everything. But Travis isn't really into being very posh. He is a bit of a troublemaker (the devil on your shoulder type of thing) and while it all started out as a cry for attention for very hands-off parents, he grew into the persona, and is now a part of his personality. He also has a knack of being able to talk himself out of certain situations, and likes to think he's extremely witty and charming (which he can be, just not...all the time). He fell into acting a little after his sister did and he hasn't had any very big or popular roles since his turn as the Doctor, which he feels is the perfect role for him. He's fun to be around, always looking for a laugh and a good time, and is a very loyal friend, but sometimes a bit of a bad influence. I know I made another plea here (I apologize if I didn't get to your comment!) but more lines would be absolute ace for him. His sister, as mentioned, is abennet and he adores her more than the rest of his family, and cherishes her daughter, his niece. He's got childhood mates in coutes and mentzer, and another mate in lowling, but I am looking for more friends, maybe an ex-girlfriend or two, co-stars (if there are any, his credits are a bit sporadic), anything you want to work out, I'd be happy to brainstorm!

So this is Alex James. He's 28, and comes from San Francisco,CA though, he's lived in Los Angeles for about ten years now. He has the credits of 30 seconds to mars, as well as Deadmau5, and I would love for him to have some more lines.
Personality wise, Alex is kind of a closed book. He can be really stand offish at first, mostly because he's been used a lot and he doesn't want to get hurt. Often times he can come off as arrogant, cocky, and like he just doesn't care about anyone. But the truth is, he cares a lot, and just puts on a front to keep a lot of people at bay to avoid being used or getting hurt. He loves the San Francisco Giants, cars, horror movies, food (he's a secret fatty) and more than anything, his girlfriend graison. Alex did some time in rehab in late 03/early 04, due to a drug addiction, but he's been clean since and he feels that the time spent had quite the impact on his life and his outlook on things. Growing up, he was destined to be a lawyer just like both his parents, his grandfather, and now his brothers. He strayed from the path though, leaving home just after high school and working to make it on his own without his families help.
I would love a best friend, some exes, enemies, relatives? Anything you got!

I'm pretty sure I posted one of these when I first joined but I don't remember it and I figured it was time to do another line post for her since some of her connections have come and gone and I'd love more because I'm getting into a bit of a rut.
Althea is 28, and a New York musician (and sort of a Texas native) who sounds like Annie Clark, better known as St Vincent. She actually records under a pseudonym as well, Ophelia but goes by her given name when she's not working so don't worry about that too much.
Her parents were actors who owned a traveling theater company so she was sort of raised on the road, homeschooled and got a taste of travel at an early age. She sort of felt out of place with her parents and was a very, very shy kid who had no interest in performing or the stage, at least in the acting sense. She's always felt more in sync with her aunt, a concert pianist and actually asked to live with her when she hit high school, wanting to plant down some roots for once.
She got into NYU and wanted a music degree. As her confidence grew and she came into her own, she decided she wanted to make a go of it in music and that it wasn't something that could be taught and promptly dropped out about a year shy of graduation. After a few years of crap jobs she got a gig playing guitar in someone's touring band, recorded an EP, and the rest is history. Her new record is coming out next month.
She's a bit socially awkward and tends to go on two speeds. She either gets overexcited and talks your ear off or clams up completely. She's not the type of person who likes to talk a lot about herself and would rather ask you questions than answer yours. She's very private and not overly emotional, choosing to save it all for her music. She's an entirely different person on stage and never more confident or comfortable in her own skin. The majority of the music is about her and her experiences, but she disguises that with metaphors as best she can. She lives in her own head a lot and its sort of up to her if she wants to let you in on what's going on up there, but she's pleasant enough and loves people, even if she's not sure how to act around them at times. She's very independent and used to/okay with keeping her own company.
This is getting long. To sum it all up, that's Althea and I could use more lines. Friends, people to tour/collaborate with, people she's met in passing, fans, whatever! Let's plot.

Hello, click! This is Joss Fortin, 22-year-old lead singer of the band Sidelines -- they sound like Paramore so she sounds like Hayley Williams -- faced by Kristen Stewart. In short, she's originally from San Francisco and loves being home. She's quiet and laidback about most things and fairly shy in social situations, but she is pretty damn fun to be around when she's comfortable. She's got a great sense of humor and a good head on her shoulders; her passion for music is on fire and she just wants to make the best music she can with her boys. Growing up had its rock bottom thanks to her Dad but she's made it through in one piece and loves the creative outlet as her therapy. When first approached, she's sweet but again, quiet. Just don't let that fool you because once you get to know her, she's a chill girl. Joss is a self-proclaimed nerd and can be a bookworm when she's home. Comic-Con is her mecca (she has three brothers) and she's proud of it. I'm looking for her bandmates as well as any other storylines you guys would like to throw at me. hola all!
This is Oliver. Some of you may remember him, some may not! Either way, I'm bringing him back and I'd love lines. He's a pretty established actor from the UK who is best known for (depending on your age) his roles in Four Weddings and a Funeral, A Beautiful Mind and as Roger Stirling in Mad Men. He also has a new TV show on NBC coming out (Awake) and played Mikael Blomkvist in the newest adaptation of Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. Credits aside, he tends to be the sort of reserved father-figure his face suggests and a huge if rather quiet supporter of charities. Aside from being alange's ex-husband, he really needs all sorts of lines, and I'd love to get some of his old lines back.
