I have lived most of my life in England, where rain is simply part of the day, but I have never seen anything like the storm that came through here the last two nights. George was terrified and slept in my bed. I have to admit, I was quite scared too. I do hope that everyone has made it through all right. Both my son and I might lose our minds if we have to stay in this flat for much longer though.

I wanted to check on you particularly. George is concerned, of course. I am not sure how much defense muscles can be against bad weather.

Well, the Oakside Court is a mess, but luckily not that many people were hurt. At least the hurricane finally dissipated. The flooding will, too.

Please stay indoors during this storm. Power outages are to be expected, but there is some preemptive work being done now. If you're in need of supplies, please reach out to your neighbors first. The PD is also available as needed.

This rain is terrible. It hasn't let up at all and while I don't usually mind an excuse to stay in, I wouldn't mind seeing the sun. Fingers crossed that it chills out soon. How are you guys spending the rainy days?

I suppose I couldn't escape even if I managed to shrink little enough to be a passenger in one of those drones. I know for certain I can't escape via helicopter, airplane, sailboat, motorboat, outrigger, canoe, nor kayak. Probably not even hitching a ride on a bird would free me from here. At least there is a top positive to being out of my timestream: none of the people I knew in New York would be looking for me.

I really hate this constant hot weather. I never thought I'd miss Gotham's less than stellar weather, but this heat can be suffocating. I'm going to spend the rest of the day in the pool just to cool off.

On Monday, it's Steve's birthday. I know there's meant to be a 4th of July celebration on the beach, but we're going to bring a cake to surprise him with. I hope everyone's going to come!

I find myself going to campus just to get some marking done because my neighbors are rather active. I rather miss my lab, though my office is peaceful enough. I forgot how much paperwork went into teaching.
