Current climate:

• Televised speeches from known-mutants who are refusing to comply with the SRA have become common fair on nightly news specials
  
• Rallies to repeal the act have been met with equally loud rallies to maintain it, and force superhumans to register. Greydon Creed has become the mouthpiece for the loudest of all supporters of the Act, the Sons of Genetic Purity.
  
• Currently in congress, Bolivar Trask is seeking to overturn the ban on Sentinels
  
• Many fights have broken out throughout the country, broken up by law and by superhuman teams - the X-Men the most publicly known. With the prevalence of cell phone cameras, videos pop up everywhere, revealing the faces of lesser-known mutants on the team.
