Training has been kicking my ass for this tour but it will be worth it. I love to dance, I love getting to see the fans faces and reactions and I love to travel. However everything has a down fall and I'm going to miss my boyfriend something terrible. Snapchat is going to be something I'm seriously thankful for. I am horrible at blogging and interaction. At least that's what my boyfriend is always saying so in part I am here to prove him wrong. If its one thing I've learned in life it is that things may not always go your way but it is about how you handle yourself in that situation that shows who you are. Hello everyone! I’m Thursday and I’m seriously looking forward to this break from classes. I swear I haven’t had a decent nights sleep since the semester started back in September.

Does everyone have plans for Thanksgiving? I’m going to be cooking and serving meals all day helping out two different shelters. If anyone else wants to help I can give you ideas.

The holiday season is in full swing and seems to be all anybody can talk about. I do love this time of year I can admit. The nostalgia feeling I get going home and having a big dinner with my family. I love the colors of the Fall and the leaves falling off the trees, the lighting of the big Christmas tree and honestly i love the decorations. However I won't ramble on and on about that. My question to you fine people is what is your favorite time of year and where would you like to spend it?

Hello All, A rare night where I'm off and I'm thinking about work because well it's who I am and I figure what better way to get to know me then by talking about what it is I do. I'm Phoenix Jennings and I'm a fire fighter and a musician. I will tell you what it means to me to do what I do: It means getting up at all hours of the night to go save some poor soul from danger and to have them look at me with so much love in their eyes knowing that if it wouldn't have been for me and the rest of my team they would not be here right now. It means responding to a car accident and working hard to ensure that everyone gets out safe and goes home to family and loved ones. It means teaching the younger ones about Fire Safety and Prevention so that they have a better understanding of what to do to prevent a fire from happening and what to do when and if a fire would happen. I love doing what I do and knowing that because of me and every other Fire/EMS personal out there the people of our communities can live safe and rest assured that we will doing everything in our power to keep them safe. Does it get stressful? Yes. And when it does I turn to my music. I can pick up my violin and just lose myself in a melody. I rambled enough about me what do you do and what gives you that calming peace when things just get too stressful?

Individuals are hurting, and our society is suffering. People are essentially flawed and sinful, but there is something within our souls, which has us striving toward the light. Recognition of these two opposite values provides a good, motivating contrast, making yoga and peaceful practices much more vital.

In cultivating the power of grace, community and resiliency in our lives, I realize I am not alone in my struggles and I have a support system. And that makes life worth living.
