"Don't know about you but if scientists named a city something like that, I'm not real sure that taking them seriously would be a high priority." The corner of his mouth quirked up in an unamused smile. The irony of the situation consisted of the fact that the scientists had brought them there to save humanity and instead they were regarding each other with suspicion, fighting off infected creatures once human breaching air locks, and generally doing anything but what they were supposed to.
Which suited Eliot just fine because the opinion had been brought up a few times that breeding might've been part of the plan. And he wasn't participating in that till...well, it wasn't looking good for that solution.
"A minute would be hell." He wanted out. Badly. "What we need is to figure out that particle machine thing that brought us here, reverse what it does, and get us all sent home. It'd be the logical thing to do. Not try to repopulate and save the planet in the middle of a dying cause."
