As for myself, I haven't fallen off the face of the planet. But I did slide south. I'm in Florida, helping my grandma settle her son's estate. He passed away suddenly mid-April, and I've been down here ever since. Since she was living in his home with him, things are a little tricky. But she's amazing, so c'est la vie.

On a lighter note, Mother's Day is tomorrow and I have my little bundle of joy with me (who is three now, btw) and we're taking her to the Magic Kingdom on Monday. So don't be surprised if you see some new Disney icons here in the next few weeks. Also, I haven't done a true, real-life PB subject since January, so that's long over due.

Hey folks. I just wanted to see what was up with everyone on IJ and apologize for the lack of icons in March, heh. It's been super busy. Anyone else getting a blizzard right now? Happy spring, right? Anyway, I have some new Rosario icons almost ready to go (RENT - from screencaps) and I bought Fire With Fire so I could icon her in that too. There should be another batch of RDJ up soon too - lots of new pics from Iron Man 3 circulating. :D I did the totals for the community, which haven't been done in nine months, and I think citadel_icons's is kickin' butt. Thanks to all you guys for joining and commenting and using the 'cons. It means a lot! <3

I feel really disconnected with the RP community lately (since having a kid, really, lol). So I was wondering if any of you had any CDJs that needed friends/feedback/rp buddies, or if there are any good games out there that anyone can recommend? I'm looking for something dark lately - Marvel / HP / Supernatural (CW). My character list is super small compared to my actual arsenal, for the record. It needs some updating, but anyway, I want to get back into writing instead of just making icons! :D

Anyway, comment if you friend me - I'll add you back and check things out. I just don't know where to start, aside the ad communities, and nothing's jumping out at me yet.

Hey guys. Just wanted to say that I'm ass-deep in Avengers icons - 1,300 so far. I'll have them posted in a few days, but Photobucket is making it extremely difficult. They've decided that all new images will now have scrambled file names by default to protect my privacy! ... I don't need privacy, and I don't need their PC BS. I was already ticked off that they were deleting my images with their delusional censorship, but now this? It's going to cause so much more trouble than it could ever be worth. They needed to send out an e-mail about this change, and it should have included an option to turn off the scrambling, or simply just recommended changing your files to be scrambled. But they're messing with my shit now and I'm getting angry. Sent them an e-mail. They won't like me when I'm angry. Thanks for your patience, compadres! <3

EDIT:
I still have not received word from Photobucket - however, I've uploaded several images today, and none of them were weighed down with scrambled file names. They're uploading just as I have them named on my computer. So, check things out and let me know if it's site-wide or just a fluke! Lol. Either way, I hope this fixes things - for us icon makers' sakes.

The decision to scramble all URLs (i.e. randomize file names) was done to ensure the privacy of all customer's images. Photobucket has listened to the concerns that our users expressed, especially those using Photobucket for business purposes. As a result, it is again the customer's option to scramble OR maintain the original file names of new uploads.

I just wanted to let everyone know ahead of time - I'll be iconning each of the Avengers and several side characters (as you've probably guessed) once I can get a hold of Bluray screencaps. 6 Avengers, 1 Loki, 1 Fury and 1 Coulson - bare minimum. And expect icons of Clark Gregg from all of the films shortly! <3 My one good eye.

P.S. For the Rosario fans - I've updated my Persephone icons; 70 were added, bringing the total to 125. I was able to icon the Bluray of the film, but I kept the old icons posted in the entry because there were variances in the screenshots. :D

First up, the directories are updated. Yaaay.

Secondly, we will no longer have updates from galaxia; she is no longer up for making new icons. She'll be missed, but her previously-made icons can still be found here and at her journal. :D

Thirdly, we now have 1,000+ members and 21,000+ icons!

I'd like to repeat, that if anyone would like to post icons they've made and don't have a journal set up yet, or would just like to post here, by all means, let us know! :D We'd love to have another iconmaker on board. Thanks to everyone for all the comments and adds over the past three (wow!) years!
