WHO: Kennet and Naamah
WHEN: Nov 4th
WHERE: Behind the Midway Games.
SUMMARY: The Crack in the Shell
WARNINGS: High Rating, unknown warnings.
The amount of energy Kennet had to take from Meredith to calm her down fed into his power base that had been cooled over the calm of the end of summer. Fissures of fire spread across his skin peeking from under his clothes; the only signifier that there had been a change in him at all. Unknowns and newcomer gifted always had surges in power that nearly equalled that of witches. Such intake reminded the Djinn of his days long before the time of the Cirque, before Management dug their claws into him and handed him a contract to sign. The wild fire that Aria had desperately wanted to see back in the Djinn's appearance and that Elia longed to destroy her in the best way possible. So many employees wanted to tear through to the molten center without knowing the dangers that lay there. Kennet's cool exterior, while more cool in the hands of his contract, had always been there to hide the little creatures from the power of the eternal smokeless flame. The natural instinct would be to pull either of the two into his vacinity and show them exactly why the relaxed shell and loosened chains came with warnings of fiery destruction. It had not been the empath's ability that flared the emotions deep inside the flame but upon intaking the energy it stirred up the ashes and relit the fire until Management caught ahold of the Djinn and put him back in his place. But was it not that Management had distractions of their own watching the Wild Hunt continue on. Each step the Djinn took through the back alley of tents left a small fire in his footsteps. His loose, relaxed clothing and long coat flowing behind him adding more grace to his already graceful movement. |
