After making his inquiry about the reason for Halloween on the network, Ashok had turned toward prepping the Cottage for that evening's menu. He had not been all too pleased with his position, it did not place him out amongst the circus grounds where he would be effective as a security creature. All Ashok could be thankful for was that he had limited interaction with other employees and people in general. If customers had issues they could go somewhere the fuck else. Apron around his waist, he looked over the intended menu- something he wished he could create instead of being told, but the Cirque had some kind of weird standard to the food they forced down the patron's throats. Red energy sparked over his hands, changing the paper in his hand to a glassy stone that could not be destroyed by water getting on it or anyone who came in to help prep. Lost in his own thoughts he would not hear anyone approach. The strange fae had not had enough time to settle into the cirque, and he thought he might never. On top of being married in a quickly arranged marriage, he had enough stress to deal with as he tried to figure out how to live with his new utterly patient and calm wife. |
