She had noted the change in him during their brief time together in the interview. Last she had seen him he had been a different creature altogether, and their friendship had come naturally and easily. Air and Fire were a natural combination, of course... it made sense that they had gotten on together. But to look up at him now, it was evident that things had changed, and it was not just the face he wore. Still, she kept her smile in place for him, feigning a pout at his dismissal.
"Well, sorry to dissapoint." Her tone implied the exact opposite. "Though now that you're here, I don't suppose you have a moment to stay and catch up? I could play something for you! You know, to help your inspection, if you'd like to keep that pretense." She placed a hand on his arm. "It's been a good few centuries since I've see you, Kennet. Humor me."
