WHO: Syssi & Caleb WHEN: May 6th WHERE: Circus Grounds WARNINGS: TBA STATUS: OPEN
Syssi hated fighting with Haydn and that is all it seemed they were doing lately. She needed a walk. She was actually surprised that he didn't come out the door after her, but then again she knew Haydn wouldn't be caught dead fighting in public. Oh no, that would have given up their little secret and Haydn was all against that. Jogging down the small stairs of their wagon, she wrapped her arms around her chest as she walked. She didn't have long before she had to get ready for the show tonight, but she needed to blow off stream or the performance wasn't going to be her best.
Walking, she had no destination. Her eyes were glued to the ground though as she hugged herself a little more tighter and trying her hardest not to cry. No...Syssi wasn't the type to cry. She uncurled her arms from around herself and brushed her fingers under her eyes and the small strands of blonde hair out of her face. A perfect smile sliding across her lips as she let out a deep sigh. Why did Haydn have to keep telling her how much of a bad idea this was? Why couldn't he just accept that this is what she wanted? To live...to experience. To hell if things were dangerous. What's the point in hiding in fear all the time when the world had changed so much over the last 100 years? Syssi kept walking...rounding a few tents until she saw the edge of the circus grounds. She stopped, staring at the line as if a rope was there. She promised Haydn she would stay within the grounds...but she was starting to feel like a bird in an iron cage.
