New Year, new you! I'm looking for some new connections for Bethany Wright. Her bio is right here!

NAME: Open!
RELATIONSHIP: B&B Innkeeper
GENDER: Open!
SUGGESTED PB(S): Open!
ETC: The innkeeper role is now open. This would have to be a new connection - the character will be replacing the previous character's shoes. Potential for a close friendship with Bethany .. business-wise of course, but also personal. I'd like to see a good friend out of this! It's not a requirement, but something to consider. The position would include room and board - it's full time and pretty not easy to live off property what with all of the responsibility. The B&B is a part of the Circle-S Ranch, located in Mountain Village.

ETC: Similarly, a potential friendship line! The chef would primarily feed B&B guests, keep the groceries stocked and double back to the Circle-S ranch to feed the staff a couple of meals a day. This character wouldn't have to live on property but would be welcome to - your preference.

ETC: The Cirle-S could use some extra muscle! Connections to

reidlocke who is the new foreman and

bloodnleather who is the used-to-be-foreman and currently carted off to prison. Ranch hands live on property in a bunk house and all meals are included.

Hi there! Honestly - we haven't been very strict about following that rule. While it's ideal for us - activity is what keeps everything going - we're in a slow spell. I think we'll be re-working that bullet point. What I think we need now are new players. The game has been super duper casual and I'm glad you're interested! Our main goal is still character development.

If you're still interested..! Yes, the spot is still open and I'm happy to see it filled.

A couple of questions -

Do I need a dedicated journal? (I'm currently out of invite codes, so thought I might double up and use this PSL journal that doesn't get used for entries, though I haven't uploaded any PB-specific icons yet)

Are you cool with these two having a pre-existing friendship? (I'm thinking of making her a couple years younger than Bethany, but perhaps they knew each other when they were children and after going away to a big city for a bit, my char has recently returned home to take the job at Circle-S and be close to Bethany, perhaps due to some sort of trauma that isn't too similar to Bethany's widow status)

Are there any other details, wants, etc that I ought to know as I work on her? (I'll admit I have only glanced over Bethany's profile so far, so please feel free to highlight any important bits that might have affected someone close to Bethany)

Because I'm impatient, here's a link to the bio I put together. Take a peek and let me know what you think, if anything should be changed, etc. I'm definitely open to adjusting if anything needs adjusting, especially the bit where Bethany is mentioned in her history.

If this looks like it'll fill your line well enough, I'll submit the app. If it needs changes, I'll make those first and then submit the app. :)

Sorry! I wasn't well yesterday and THINKING was hard. But here I am, feeling much better. :D

Cam is adorable. I adore her. Bethany will want to kiiiill that man. I think their being family friends is a fine idea! There's a bit of an age gap (8 years!) so I don't know how close they'd have been. But certainly B could become a mother-hen friend now that she is back.

Go ahead and app her!

I just want to let you know that things at Circle-S are veeery slow. My co-mod and I are here and present though! We're moving along and just hoping others will follow. :\ So don't let that put you off! We just ask you have patience and that you bring an effort to plot along with you. Things will pick up! Even if I have to play every character myself, for a while. XD

No worries! Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well, but glad you're feeling better now. :)

Yay! Cam didn't really tell anyone what he did, so she still gets the odd sigh and comment from her mother about why she didn't go through with the wedding. Which drives Cam nuts, lol. And yes, there is an age gap - I was going to make Cam older but I thought her PB looked quite young (even though I have no idea of the PB's actual age). But yeah, maybe Bethany babysat her a bit when Cam was a kid or something, and they could have reconnected a little when Cam was back at age 22-23, and now again. So I look forward to seeing how their friendship plays out!

And no worries. I have spurts of business, and like I mentioned before, spurts of absenteeism, so slow is okay with me. I hope to help with the picking up part a little anyway. :)
