Jennifer's eyes widened in surprised. The explosion had happened months ago. She didn't know a lot about beaming technology, but she had read several mission reports about people ending in places they shouldn't be. Heck, it had happened to John not too long ago when he walked through the gate and was missing for twelve days.
"I'm glad you got out," she said, giving him a small smile. "I was worried about you, and what Michael might do to you if he found you still there."
And when he said Michael was dead, and Teyla and the baby were fine, she let out relieved sigh. "Good. I know how determined you were to get the two of them back," she said.
However, all feelings of gladness flew out the window when John told her they were there to fight a final war of good and evil. "What?" she asked with a look of disbelief on her face. "Why would I be chosen? I can barely fire a gun, let alone fight someone. Ronon tried to teach me once, and I almost knocked him out. This has to be a mistake."
Looking over at the bar, she sighed. "I think I might need a strong drink," she muttered.
