Day: Day 2
Time of Day: Evening
Location: The Bar
Rating: PG to R? He's got a mouth on him.
Status: Incomplete
He’d woken face down with sand in his nostrils and mouth, waves of water rising and falling in time behind him. The beach was dark and even though he’d searched the area around him by calling out his brother’s name for a good half hour or more, he hadn’t found any sign of Sam, or the Impala, or anything at all that would tell him where the hell he was.
The last thing he remembered was stopping to gas up somewhere in Montana and everything after that was one big, blank slate. His mouth was dry with worry as he tried to go over all of the things that might have happened during the hole in his memory. He remembered the entire week Sam had lost to being possessed and found himself wondering if the tattoo he’d gotten so many months ago to protect him against possession just hadn’t been enough. He’d stumbled around until he’d finally made out a light in the distance which had led him to some kind of tourist trap cantina, and then to a deserted pool. It reminded him of Florida, or maybe certain parts of California, but he couldn’t be sure.
“Sam!” Dean called out one more time, the name echoing off the storefronts in front of him as he took in the ice cream parlor, restaurant and bar.
He sighed, taking in his in unfamiliar surroundings before dusting off his jacket and walking towards the bar. His pockets were empty, which meant no money and no phone. If he was going to figure out what the hell happened he was going to need some cash to get back to the last place he remembered.
He walked in the bar, looking around at its inhabitants. They weren’t the standard tourist crowd. Some of them looked downright odd in the way they were dressed.. He made his way towards the pool tables, looking for an easy hustle target and wondering for the hundredth time in the last hour where the hell he was.
