Who: Jenna and Lucien
What: Lucien wants to size up Jenna and Jenna just wants to bake and meet Lucien
When: Friday afternoon Week 10
Where: The kitchen in the DeWitt mansion
Warning: PG-13? Lucien curses, Jenna doesn't really
After her afternoon with Nate the day before, Jenna got in the mood to do some baking. It had been a little while since she'd had free range of kitchen, let alone one the size of her entire last place to live. She already had two dozen sugar cookies cooling, another two dozen chocolate chip baking, and she was currently mixing up a big batch of peanut butter cookies. Again, as a creature of habit, music was playing in the background. However, this time it wasn't nearly as loud. It was just a nice background noise that she could him along with.
So far her first week at the mansion had been good. It was big and private and quiet, all things she'd never had before. It took a little getting used to, but Nate had made it a little easier. Cooking and baking were also some of Jenna's go to ways to relax. When she was done in here, she'd head over to the library in the house, find a good book, and snuggle up in one of the many rooms and comfy chairs she'd come across while cleaning. Well, first she'd probably have a shower.
Dressed similarly as when Nate had happened upon her, Jenna had her hair up in a messy bun. Today, however, she had on a strapless, cotton top of fuchsia, jean shorts, and she was barefoot. Until she was told to dress differently, she decided she was going to dress comfortably. After all, she was doing hard manual labor with all the cleaning. In all fairness, the house hadn't been in bad shape. Jenna had just felt the need to do an extremely thorough first go of it so that it could be light stuff like dusting and vacuuming for awhile. Thorough cleans only really needed to be done every few months. At least that was what her mother had taught her.
