The older witch sighed, and shrugged. Youth. He'd learned, hard, over the years that no one could make your mistakes for you. Unfortunately, you had to figure things out for yourself, and there was little others could do to help. "Try not to get in too much trouble, if you would. Despite appearances, I think Em would be quite upset."
So saying, he left Lucien to it. Perhaps, he thought, it might go better on another night.
