Emerson raised an eyebrow, finding it hard to imagine repeatedly dealing with someone who would all but experiment on them. Still, he supposed if Jack had been game, no harm done? Some people were just adventurous that way.
Talk of the brand set things in a more serious mood. Emerson settled down on the couch, leaning back before taking a drink of the scotch. He swirled the liquid around in the glass, watching its movements with some interest as he listened to Jack. It was the very thing Ianto had mentioned to him the other day.
"Of course it can be done," he said finally. "All manner of magic can heal scarring with enough effort. I don't dabble in blood magic or any of that dark shit, though. I've done healing work before, and it's not so much difficult as it is lengthy. I've gotta get a hold of the right reagents, but the spell's one I've done before." He looked back over at Jack.
