[I realized I probably didn't pick the best posting order for this beginning part. sorry about that.
Felicity was one of the few, if any, people that Olivia trusted at all and so she was in a way thankful for her company. That didn't prevent her from continuing to fidget impatiently while the other girl gathered her things and shut down her computer. It felt like it took forever but finally they were heading towards the door of the shelter, the look of excitement returning to Olivia's face.
"I.. I'm going to get yellow flowers," she decided as they walked. "Yellow's my favorite. Yellow like the sun." She had done a good job of digging through all of her things and finding what should be enough change to buy a few flowers.
Perhaps if she hadn't been so absorbed by her impatience and excitement to pick out flowers Olivia would have recognized the dark car parked not too far from where they were walking, but unfortunately that wasn't the case.
