It was Jamie's turn to be a little sheepish, scratching the back of his head and ruffling a bit of his hair there before smoothing it down again. Had it really been that obvious that he'd taken a gander of non-platonic air when in the other man's presence? Or maybe it was just that Jamie was way out of practice, thus not so great at being discreet in that sense. Then again, perhaps this guy was just that good at picking up on little things like that.
"It was a good thing you came along that day," Jamie admitted, shaking his head once. "I was still pretty new back then. Didn't really know what to do." True that! The handbook had clearly stated that violence was frowned up and since he had been yet to even discover all of his own new abilities, he'd been at a loss as to what to do. Hell, he'd still been rather shaky at the whole orbing and healing things.
He took the offered hand, giving a brief, firm shake before letting go. He noted that Bradley's shake was just as firm in return, not some flimsy hold. That showed confidence, something that was always an admirable thing in any person. "Jamie Andrews," he offered in return. "It's nice to properly meet you."
Ah, so he was still in the business for hire line. Jamie could remember wondering back then if Bradley was actually a witch or just a rather gifted human with a knack for hunting down demons. Whatever the case, he'd done a good deed and those weren't easily forgotten. "I wouldn't worry about things being slow for too long. The 'other' side, they always have a way of starting again," he winked. He wasn't going to mentions demons out loud (though it seemed Bradley had no problem doing so); Jamie wasn't one to speak of such things so openly where there were unsuspecting folks around.
"Me? Same as usual. There's always folks to look after. Some blokes just can't stay out of trouble," he chuckled lightly, taking just a second to check into the chatter in his head, making sure he wasn't missing anything important just in case anybody needed him.
